DANIELLE, a member of NEWJEANS, currently in a legal dispute with her former label ADOR, has shared the “unsent letter” she wrote last year.
On January 16, DANIELLE posted on her personal Instagram account a long letter addressed to the fandom BUNNIES. The letter had been written on November 12, 2025, and DANIELLE explained the reason for its delayed release: “At that time, I couldn’t deliver this message.”
The letter was written at a time when the possibility of reconciliation among the members of NEWJEANS was being discussed. At that time, HAERIN and HYEIN had expressed their intention to return to ADOR, and it was reported by legal representatives that MINJI, DANIELLE, and HANNI had also communicated their willingness to come back. However, HANNI was traveling at that time, and internal discussions remained unfinished.
In this situation, DANIELLE emphasized the special bonds with the members: “MINJI, HANNI, HAERIN, HYEIN are my second family.” She added: “We didn’t have time to sync up, but nothing can separate us. This precious bond is a unique and special relationship in this world.”
She also addressed a message to the fans: “I can’t say everything right now, but where my heart turns remains unchanged,” conveying her steadiness despite the uncertainty. She concluded the letter as if reassuring herself: “Even difficult moments are not ‘impossible,’ they are just moments that require a little more time.”
Currently, DANIELLE is facing a lawsuit filed by ADOR regarding her exclusive contract. At the time the letter was written, the possibility of “returning together” still existed, but the situation has since escalated into a legal conflict. Fans reacted by saying that “the hope contained in this letter resonates even more deeply.”
Finally, DANIELLE promised a future reunion with her fans: “I look forward to the day we meet again, laugh, and talk.” She also announced the opening of a new Instagram account and added that she would gradually share her thoughts and time with her fans.
