ROSÉ, a member of BLACKPINK and a solo singer, has been nominated at the BRIT Awards.

On January 23, according to her agency THE BLACK LABEL, ROSÉ was named among the nominees in the International Song of the Year category at the 46th BRIT Awards 2026, organized by the British Phonographic Industry, thanks to her duet with BRUNO MARS, “APT.”.
The BRIT Awards are a prestigious British music awards ceremony established in 1977. Nominees are selected through votes from more than 1,000 industry professionals, including radio and TV DJs, hosts, broadcasting executives, record label executives, and journalists. With this nomination, ROSÉ sets another milestone by becoming the first and only K-pop artist to be nominated at the BRIT Awards both as a group member and as a solo artist.
ROSÉ had already made waves the previous year in October with “APT.”, her duet with BRUNO MARS, by breaking numerous records on global music charts. She also became the first K-pop artist to win the Song of the Year grand prize at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards, one of the four major U.S. music award ceremonies, and earned a historic double nomination, Song of the Year and Record of the Year, at the Grammy Awards, a first for K-pop.
In December of the same year, ROSÉ’s first full-length studio album, “ROSIE,” also generated strong buzz upon release. Fully written and composed with ROSÉ’s participation on every track, the album debuted directly at No. 3 on Billboard’s main album chart, the Billboard 200, and remained on the chart for 27 consecutive weeks, setting new records for both the highest ranking and the longest chart run for a female K-pop artist. Through this album, ROSÉ not only delivered deeply personal and sincere stories but also expanded her musical range by exploring a wide variety of genres.
As ROSÉ continues to elevate her country’s presence on international stages by winning major awards, K-pop fans are now watching closely to see whether she will also take home a trophy at the BRIT Awards, which will be held on February 28 (local time).
