Singer KANG DANIEL has produced the original soundtrack for the animated film “Legend of Mega race.”
KANG DANIEL personally led the entire process, from planning the soundtrack to singing, composition, sound design, and shaping the emotional flow, delivering a highly complete work. As the project is aimed at the global market, the soundtrack is expected to convey KANG DANIEL’s musical appeal to international audiences beyond Korea.
“Legend of Mega race” is the latest film from 3D animation studio Redrover, known for the “NUTJOB” series, which once ranked second at the Hollywood box office. Set in a futuristic city, this family-oriented animated film blends racing, science fiction, and a coming-of-age narrative that transcends time and space. It is scheduled for theatrical release this year in Korea, the United States, and worldwide.
KANG DANIEL worked on the soundtrack in collaboration with producer BIBLEIN. Rather than creating simple background music, their goal was to translate the film’s speed, the atmosphere of the city, and the emotions of the characters into music. The sensory thrill inherent to the racing genre, the fast-paced gaze sweeping through the city, and the inner lives of the characters were incorporated into the various tracks.
The soundtrack of “Legend of Mega race,” in which KANG DANIEL participated as both producer and vocalist, will be released simultaneously with the film’s theatrical debut this year. Global distribution will be handled by Global Interactive Technologies (NASDAQ: GITS). GITS holds the rights to manage and exploit the master recordings, as well as worldwide distribution, usage, commercialization, and promotional rights, and will conduct various promotional activities through the Faning platform.
