The actor PARK SI YOON announces an intense new transformation through MBC’s new Friday-Saturday drama, “Fifty professionals” (오십프로).
On the morning of May 22, his agency SAEBYEOK ENTERTAINMENT stated:
“PARK SI YOON will appear in MBC’s new Friday-Saturday drama ‘Fifty professionals’ in the role of Kim Jin Soo. We ask you to look forward to this new character that PARK SI YOON will shape, he who has already demonstrated intense acting skills by navigating between good and evil through various works”.
“Fifty professionals” (written by Jang Won Seop, directed by Han Dong Hwa) is a gritty action comedy that depicts the adventures of three men, seemingly ordinary but once very famous, when they get back into motion. The work tells the story of these three men whose bodies are rusty but whose loyalty and instinct remain very much alive. It is already arousing strong interest before its broadcast thanks to a trusted casting composed of Shin Ha Kyun, Oh Jung Se, and Heo Sung Tae.
PARK SI YOON will portray Kim Jin Soo in the drama, the boss of Yeongseon Jungang High School. Kim Jin Soo is the character who pushes the protagonist Jung Ho Myung (played by Shin Ha Kyun) to go in person all the way to Yeongseon Jungang High School. With an acting performance full of realism, he will deliver lines opposite his great senior Shin Ha Kyun and is expected to breathe both tension and entertainment into the plot.
Previously, PARK SI YOON had left an impression on viewers by appearing as a chilling and intelligent criminal in “Taxi Driver 3” on SBS. Conversely, in “The judge returns” on MBC, he portrayed the young version of Seok Jung Ho, the best friend of Lee Han Young (played by Ji Sung), showing the image of a loyal friend and proving his great ability to digest varied characters.
In addition to this, PARK SI YOON, who is expanding his spectrum by presenting an acting performance full of personality in major works such as “A hundred memories”, “Namib”, “Connection”, and “Moving”, has already confirmed his next project and is approaching the main filming.
Furthermore, MBC’s new Friday-Saturday drama “Fifty professionals”, in which PARK SI YOON appears, will be broadcast for the first time tonight at 9:50 PM KST.
