2AM member LEE CHANGMIN will join “무명전설-트롯 사내들의 서열전쟁 (Unknown Legend)”.
According to information collected by iMBC ENTERTAINMENT on the 10th, LEE CHANGMIN of 2AM (Lee Changmin, Jo Kwon, Lim Seulong, Jung Jinwoon) will participate in the new MBN variety program “무명전설-트롯 사내들의 서열전쟁 (Unknown Legend)” (hereafter “Unknown Legend”).
“Unknown Legend” is a trot survival show where 99 still-unknown challengers compete for a single throne. The hosts are KIM DAEHO and JANG MINHO, while the judges include NAMJIN, JO HANGJO, JU HYUNMI, SHIN YU, KANG MUNKYUNG, and SON TAEJIN.
Debuting in 2008 with the male vocal group 2AM under JYP ENTERTAINMENT, LEE CHANGMIN gained recognition as a main vocal talent with numerous hits such as “This song”, “Can’t let you go even if I die”, “I was wrong”, and “You wouldn’t answer my calls”. He later led duo activities with LEE HYUN in HOMME and continued solo releases while participating in several musicals such as “Rebecca” and “The last”, demonstrating his strong vocal abilities.
In 2015, LEE CHANGMIN participated in the writing and composition of the debut album of the trot duo “나무 (NaMoo)”, produced directly by JANG YOONJUNG, titled “CEO”. He has since continued working as a trot composer. He also appeared on TV CHOSUN’s “Tuesday night is the best” to present the stage “Two Wheels”, showcasing his talent. On this occasion, he stated: “I wrote and composed ‘My dummy darling’ by HWANG WOO LIM. I’m glad KIM HEE JAE covered it,” adding that he has also provided songs to HAN HYEJIN.
Showing his ongoing affection for trot, LEE CHANGMIN officially begins his trot journey with “Unknown Legend”.
Meanwhile, “Unknown Legend” will premiere on Wednesday, February 25 at 9:40 p.m. KST.
