The group TWS achieved a successful launch with its new track on the day of its release.
The digital single by TWS (Shinyu, Dohoon, Youngjae, Hanjin, Jihoon, Kyungmin) “다시 만난 오늘” reached 3rd place on the real-time MELON HOT 100 chart (based on 100 days since release) and BUGS immediately upon its release on February 9. On the MELON TOP 100, which combines 24-hour and 1-hour listening data (from 8 a.m. to midnight), the song entered at 65th place before climbing 25 positions to reach 40th, marking TWS’s highest ranking on this chart on release day.
“다시 만난 오늘”, showcasing TWS’s signature refreshing charm, brightly and clearly depicts the miraculous process in which “you” becomes “us” during winter, and it was warmly received. Although this track, titled “Nice to see you again” (はじめまして), was first released in Japan and already familiar to fans, it successfully climbed the charts, which is particularly encouraging.
Music fans especially highlighted the Korean lyrics, reflecting the subtlety of the song. The lyrics, shifting from the July summer to February winter to maintain a seasonal feeling, enriched harmonies, and soft vocals were noted by the audience, who shared these details while enjoying “다시 만난 오늘”.
