Singer AILEE shared her sincere feelings regarding her stage performances while preparing for in vitro fertilization.
On February 14, a video titled “임신 준비, 함께여서 견딜 수 있었던 시간들 (Première préparation à la grossesse, les moments supportables parce qu’on est ensemble)” was released on the YouTube channel “일리네 결혼일기”. The video shows AILEE receiving an ovarian stimulation injection and preparing for the egg retrieval procedure.
Her husband CHOI SIHOON said: “I was told you have to receive the ovarian stimulation injection starting tomorrow. There may be soreness or headaches, so I’m worried,” adding: “I hope despite the difficulties, you can manage all of this without too much stress.” Administering the injection himself into her abdomen, he showed concern when AILEE expressed pain: “The injection hurts, and today it seems even harder for her.”
AILEE admitted feeling “scared” before the egg retrieval. She particularly revealed that the pain was intense during her performances: “My stomach was so bloated that it was very painful. Just yesterday, I had to jump on stage, but each jump hurt too much to jump.” She added: “It was even difficult to walk,” describing her physically exhausting condition.
On the day of the retrieval, being on an empty stomach, AILEE joked: “I want to eat galbitang. I also want galbijjim,” provoking laughter. After the procedure, she said: “I think the anesthesia hasn’t completely worn off. My head is spinning,” and CHOI SIHOON comforted her by saying: “You did well.”
CHOI SIHOON also sent a message of encouragement: “To all future moms preparing for in vitro fertilization in South Korea, courage!” and “I hope all husbands better understand what their wives are going through.”
Moreover, AILEE married last April CHOI SIHOON, an entrepreneur and actor known for his participation in season 1 of “Single inferno”, and they are currently preparing for in vitro fertilization to have a child.
