Singer and actress NAM GYURI experienced an unexpected incident during a neighborhood tour with artificial intelligence.
On February 15, a video titled “Ep.34 chatGPT와 함께하는 한남동 투어! 우리..친구가 될 수 있을까?” was released on the YouTube channel “남규리의 귤멍”.
Resident of Hannam-dong, NAM GYURI said: “I don’t know much about the neighborhood” and decided that day to explore the area with the help of AI. Although surprised from the start by the somewhat casual tone of the AI, she headed toward a recommended waffle shop.
Bickering continued throughout the outing. When the AI complimented her by calling her a “YouTube star,” NAM GYURI’s expression briefly relaxed, but to the question “Where should we go,” the answer returned was an absurd direction: “In the direction where the smell of waffles is coming from.”
At the location they arrived at following the AI’s instructions, there was actually no waffle shop. Even in this awkward situation, the AI tried to handle it calmly by saying: “I’ll recommend another waffle shop nearby.” However, NAM GYURI, whose hunger had reached its peak, ended the conversation and turned back toward the budae-jjigae restaurant they had passed earlier.
But that place was also on break, and the plan derailed again. Although the AI expressed regret by saying: “Next time, I will provide more accurate support,” NAM GYURI reacted coldly, responding: “There will be no next time.”
Later, when the AI no longer answered calls, NAM GYURI’s anger rose again. Despite this, she soon showed some ease by sticking out her tongue and saying: “It’s still smart anyway.” Thus, the Hannam-dong tour with the AI ended leaving both laughter and disillusionment.
