The singer CHOI YENA is making her comeback after 8 months.
On February 23 at midnight, CHOI YENA officially announced her return on March 11 by releasing a “coming soon” teaser image via her official SNS. The image features a building in flames and a tree burning to ashes, creating an intense atmosphere. On top of that, elements such as a skateboard and a shovel seeming to float in the air are added to complete an explosive tension and a dramatic scene.
Then, later the same day at noon, she revealed the name of the new album “LOVE CATCHER (러브 캐처)” as well as a promotional scheduler, officially launching the countdown for her comeback. Using a bomb timer and speech bubbles to reveal the promotional schedule, CHOI YENA plans to successively present, starting from the 24th, concept photos, a tracklist, a highlight medley, and teaser clips.
So far, CHOI YENA has shown a strong presence as a solo artist with songs reflecting her unique color such as “Smiley” (feat. BIBI), “Smartphone”, and “Nemonemo”. Her characteristic bright and energetic charm, as well as her musical style that is both kitsch and trendy, have earned her constant love from fans in Korea and internationally.
Last July, she released her fourth mini-album “BLOOMING WINGS”, reinforcing the “Yena core” identity initiated with “Nemonemo”. Recently, she further solidified her presence as a “GenZ artist” through “Star!” (feat.
