DALMATIAN - SIMON
The former member of DALMATIAN and producer of the popular Japanese girl group XG, SIMON (real name Junho), was urgently arrested in Japan for drug possession.

According to sources active in Japan, on the morning of February 23, SIMON was caught in the act by the metropolitan police in a hotel room in Nagoya for violating the Narcotics Control Law. At the time of his arrest, he was in possession of cocaine and marijuana and was with three other people. These individuals are affiliated with a major Japanese entertainment agency.
The police are investigating the details, including the origin of the cocaine.
SIMON joined the group DALMATIAN, formed in 2010, as a new member in 2012, but the group disbanded in 2013. He began working as a producer the same year, founded his own entertainment agency in 2017, and debuted the 7-member girl group XG in 2022.
SIMON was arrested at the hotel immediately after XG’s concert in Nagoya on the 22nd.
XG has recently been attracting attention in the global market. The group is currently on their second world tour and launched the tour from February 6 to 8 in Yokohama, gathering nearly 60,000 spectators over three days. On the 22nd, XG continued their world tour in Nagoya, which SIMON also attended.
The news of SIMON’s arrest was reported by some Japanese media on the same day. Regarding this, a representative of XG stated: “We are acknowledging the information and trying to understand the situation.”
