STRAY KIDS - HAN
HAN of STRAY KIDS made a donation of 100 million won (64,000 Euros) to support children who have suffered abuse and those placed in care facilities this Monday, his birthday, declared his agency JYP ENTERTAINMENT.
“I wanted to offer a little warmth and comfort to children who have gone through difficult times. I sincerely hope they can heal in a safe and caring environment and find reasons to smile again,” declared HAN in a press release this Monday.
The donation was made to the social welfare foundation Angels’ Haven.
Half of the donation will be dedicated to the protection and psychological care of children who have suffered abuse, while the other 50 million won will help provide care and education to children in the foundation’s care facility located in Eunpyeong District, northern Seoul.
HAN also marked his birthday in 2025 with a donation to Samsung Medical Center to help cover treatment and care costs for adults suffering from severe illnesses, as well as medical costs for children and adolescents.
The same year, HAN and his STRAY KIDS bandmates made a donation to the Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association and to World Vision Korea to support reconstruction efforts following forest fires in South Gyeongsang and North Gyeongsang. The group also made a donation to World Vision Hong Kong to help reconstruction efforts after a fire in Hong Kong.
HAN made his debut as a member of STRAY KIDS in 2018 under JYP ENTERTAINMENT. The eight-member boy group is known for hits such as “God’s menu” (2020), “Thunderous” (2021), “Maniac” (2022), and “Walkin on water” (2024).
The group recently launched “STRAY CITY”, a new festival tour crossing three cities in Latin America, with a performance in Bogotá, Colombia, on Wednesday. It is scheduled to visit Buenos Aires, Argentina, and Mexico City later this month.
STRAY KIDS was also the headliner of the Brazilian music festival “ROCK IN RIO” this Friday.
