CHEETAH
The rapper CHEETAH (Kim Eun Young, 36) transforms into a painter and highlights, through her works, environmental pollution and the suffering of living beings that results from it.

The exhibition curation company GOWOON announced on March 4 that CHEETAH’s first official solo exhibition, titled “VOICES BEYOND SOUND : 인간의 욕심으로부터”, will be held from March 9 to April 4 at the Hwang Chang-bae Museum in Yeonhui-dong, Seodaemun District, Seoul.
Through this exhibition, CHEETAH will present 22 works themed around the meaning of life encompassing nature, animals, and humans.
GOWOON explained:
“Through her works, she focused on environmental pollution and ecological destruction hidden behind the development of human civilization, as well as the lives sacrificed in this process. She represented, through symbolic images, the silence imposed on nature and animals in a world shaped by human comfort and desires.”
CHEETAH stated: “The Earth we face today remains beautiful but extremely fragile. I wanted to pose a fundamental question about the sacrifices made in the name of progress and the human attitude of constantly consuming novelty.”
