I-DLE - YUQI
Member I-DLE’s YUQI has once again proven her unique influence in the Chinese music sphere.
Under the theme “她在场 自有光”, YUQI was named among the female artists who achieved remarkable results on the TENCENT MUSIC platform and in the Chinese music market during the year 2025.
TENCENT MUSIC chose the keyword “元气 (overflowing energy)” to symbolize YUQI. “Last year, she participated in writing the lyrics and composing all the songs of her first single “MOTIVATION”, showing her talent as a new generation female singer-songwriter” and “The title song “M.O.” not only reached first place in Korea but also achieved excellent results in China”, it evaluated.
The influence of YUQI was also proven by the numbers. YUQI recorded 147 entries in the Korean chart of TENCENT MUSIC and 122 entries in the top 20, while winning in the Tencent Music Korea Chart 2025 the titles of artist of the year, solo artist of the year, song of the year (“Freak”) and EP/single of the year (“MOTIVATION”).
The solo songs of YUQI, “Radio (Dum-Dum)” and “Freak”, both obtained the Gold certification from TENCENT MUSIC. In particular, the digital single “Radio (Dum-Dum)” released in March last year recorded a top 10 for 50 consecutive weeks in the Tencent Music Korea Chart after its release, and still today continues to break records every week with lasting success.
YUQI also recently attracted attention by performing “Magic together”, the theme song of the 10th anniversary of Shanghai Disneyland.
I-DLE (Miyeon, Minnie, Soyeon, Yuqi, Shuhua), to which YUQI belongs, held on the 7th at TAIPEI DOME in Taipei the concert “2026 I-DLE WORLD TOUR [Syncopation] IN TAIPEI”, meeting local fans. I-DLE is the first K-pop girl group to perform at the TAIPEI DOME. Tickets sold out completely right after reservations opened, causing an explosive reaction.
