BTS will hold the “BTS Comeback Live: Arirang” on March 21 at 8 p.m. KST around Gwanghwamun Square. This is a commemorative event for the comeback with their 5th album “ARIRANG” which will be released the day before; it will be managed entirely as a standing zone and the show can be viewed via large LED screens installed on site. It will be broadcast live on “Netflix”.
The police estimate that up to 260,000 spectators, including 22,000 official spectators, will go to the site. Consequently, they are considering the full deployment of special units, the strengthening of inspections and searches, as well as the deployment of additional criminal personnel to prepare for unforeseen situations such as knife attacks. The organizer, HYBE, also plans to deploy more than 4,000 law enforcement officers to manage the crowd.
