JINJO CREW
The breaking crew JINJO CREW climbed to the top step of the podium in both team and individual competitions during the global breaking competition “2026 NANTERIOUS BREAK WORLD FINAL” held in France.
This competition took place on April 4 (local time) at the Palais Des Sports Maurice Thorez in Nanterre, France. It was conducted according to a comprehensive evaluation method by an international three-member jury based on creativity, musicality, style, and technique.
It was a world breaking final of international scale in which the best b-boys, b-girls, and kids breakers from various countries around the world participated, including South Korea and the host country, France, as well as Turkey, the Netherlands, Greece, China, Japan, Taiwan, Finland, Russia, Lithuania, Italy, Belarus, Belgium, and Latvia.
JINJO CREW, participating as the representative of South Korea, delivered an overwhelming performance during the 3-on-3 team competition, led by the current national breaking representative and gold medalist KIM HEON WOO (Wing), accompanied by JANG JI KWANG (Vero) and PARK JUN YOUNG (Lilky).
In the quarterfinals, facing the Greek team which enjoyed strong support from the host country and neighboring cultural circles, they won the victory by obtaining the unanimous votes of the judges and continued their momentum; then in the semifinals, they qualified for the final by again receiving the unanimous votes of the judges against the Netherlands, a European powerhouse.
In the final, the competition was played against a united team from Japan and Taiwan according to the final show-of-hands judgment method, and JINJO CREW seized the final victory by dominating the atmosphere of the venue with high-quality teamwork and explosive energy until the end.
In the individual category as well, the b-boy HIRO10 belonging to JINJO CREW rose to the top with exceptional technique and explosive energy, dominating both the team competition and the individual competition.
The JINJO CREW side self-evaluated that
“this result shows once again that JINJO CREW has maintained its world-class competitiveness for a long time in a rapidly changing cultural trend, and continuously proves its unique influence on the breaking scene”.
In particular, KIM HEON WOO (Wing) went to Paris the day after this victory to participate as a judge in the global breaking competition “I.T BATTLE”. Subsequently, after his return to Korea, he will join media shoots and the national athletes’ village program to begin serious training with the goal of the next Asian Games.
JINJO CREW is actively committed to spreading social values beyond the competitive results of their recent global victories. Team members KIM HEON JUN (Skim), JANG JI KWANG (Vero), and HWANG MYUNG CHAN (Octopus), as preliminary social influencers appointed by the KOREA SOCIAL CONTRIBUTION ASSOCIATION, participate in cultural and artistic education for youth, social contribution campaigns, and local community projects, thus expanding the positive influence of breaking culture.
