The artist JUNG ILHOON (Ilhoon) successfully closed his solo concert “MAEDUP” which was held on the last 4th.

Composed of live stages with already released tracks rearranged for a band set, the first presentation of new unreleased songs and events for fans, this show sparked a strong reaction on-site after the total sell-out of VIP seat pre-sales.

That day, JUNG ILHOON presented his already released tracks with new arrangements for a band formation. The addition of the band’s interpretation created a sound of a different texture from that of the original songs, and stages with varied atmospheres followed one another with a live configuration alternating between rap and vocals.
During the concert, new unreleased songs were also revealed for the first time on stage. These are tracks presented to the public on-site before their official release, and the agency CARPENTERS ART REPUBLIC explained that it was “a stage allowing a glimpse of the recent direction of JUNG ILHOON‘s work.” Previously, JUNG ILHOON had announced the start of the collaboration project “RGB SGNL” by releasing the single “MERRY GO ROUND” on the 26th of last month, in collaboration with the producer PATEKO and the artist MEENOI.
In addition to the live stages, various events for fans were organized throughout the show. A concert official stated:
“In accordance with the title MAEDUP, we designed this event as a moment to weave bonds not only with existing fans but also with new spectators.”
JUNG ILHOON shared his impressions by declaring:
“It was meaningful to be able to present songs rearranged with a band sound directly in front of fans. I hope that this MAEDUP will remain as a beautiful bond for all those who were present.”
Furthermore, according to CARPENTERS ART REPUBLIC, JUNG ILHOON plans to sequentially pursue subsequent collaborations with various musicians through the project “RGB SGNL”, starting with the single “MERRY GO ROUND”.
