The agency PLEDIS ENTERTAINMENT announced on May 11 that DINO, a member of the group SEVENTEEN, will release his first mini-album “길보드 (吉BOARD)” this coming August 3.
The name of the album, “길보드 (吉BOARD)”, combines the term “Gilboard”, which referred to street record sales stalls in the 1990s, with the hanja character “gil (吉)” meaning luck, and the word “BOARD” evoking the stage.
DINO will carry out his activities in the guise of PICHEOLIN, a producer character and CEO of the music agency BOMG. PICHEOLIN first appeared in 2021 during a SEVENTEEN fan meeting. This album traces the activities of a producer who transforms everyday stories into music.
PLEDIS ENTERTAINMENT uploaded an associated video on its official YouTube channel today at 8 AM KST. The video presents the characteristics of PICHEOLIN through each era, from prehistory until the year 2126. At the end of the video, the PICHEOLIN of 2026 appears, unveiling an excerpt of the new song using saxophone sounds.
