The group QUEENZ EYE (Wonchae, Kiirii, Seovin, Jinyul, Hayoon, Seoha) has confirmed its return for May 28 and has begun its official countdown.
The agency Big Entertainment formalized the comeback date by publishing, on May 13 at 6 p.m. KST via its official social networks, the promotion schedule image for the second mini-album “PRISM EP.02”.
According to the published schedule, QUEENZ EYE will successively unveil various contents, starting with the opening of pre-orders on the 14th, followed by the tracklist, concept photos, animated posters, and music video teasers. In particular, the schedule design structured like a pink-toned Windows window intuitively conveys the “Y2K” sensibility, the central keyword of this album, sending fan expectations soaring.
The second mini-album “PRISM EP.02”, which will be released on May 28, is a work that adds a mainstream pop style to the powerful colors unique to QUEENZ EYE‘s identity. According to the agency, a prestigious production team, which has birthed hits for leading K-pop artists such as AESPA, IVE, or RIIZE, participated massively in this album to improve its quality.
After redefining its musical direction through its first mini-album “PRISM EP.01” last year and going through a period of “growth,” the group displays the ambition to complete a spectacular “flight” narrative in the music industry with this new album.
Previously, QUEENZ EYE had solidified its presence in Korea and abroad thanks to the Pitchfork exclusive documentary “PRISM of Us”, its participation in Seoul Fashion Week, and appearing on the covers of global magazines. The attention of international fans is now focused on this second episode of QUEENZ EYE, which captures both a musical transformation and a visual evolution.
