The agency BTOB Company officially launches the festivities around the new solo project of artist PENIEL through a first conceptual teaser.
The news is now official and is already delighting the fan community. PENIEL, the charismatic member of BTOB, is preparing to make his grand return to the forefront of the music scene with a brand-new digital single titled « IDKI ».
To mark the occasion and launch the promotional campaign, his brand-new agency, BTOB Company, has just uploaded a captivating first teaser video that lays the foundations for a concept that is both retro and melancholy.
The visual of this first teaser focuses on a worn and textured traffic light standing out against a late-day sky with pink and orange hues. To the rhythm of mechanical turn signal sounds, the light successively changes from the green light at the bottom, where we can distinguish the title “IDKI” engraved in the glass, to a bright red light at the very top, revealing the same luminous logo. The middle light, meanwhile, appears broken, accentuating the atmosphere of rupture and heartbreak unique to the track.
At the top of the image, poignant lines of text written in English scroll by, giving a glimpse of the lyrics of this future composition: “Really thought you were the one for me, but these days everything feels off”. These words, combined with the urban and solitary aesthetic of the traffic light, suggest a touching track dealing with the doubts and the end of a romantic relationship.
The foundations for this solo comeback are now laid, and fans already have their eyes glued to social media to discover the next clues that the label will distill.
The wait will not be much longer before discovering the entirety of this project. This first promotional clip indeed confirms that PENIEL‘s digital single “IDKI” will be available on all streaming platforms on Friday, May 22, 2026, at 6 p.m. KST.
