STRAY KIDS - FELIX
The member FELIX of the K-pop group STRAY KIDS becomes the visual who makes the charm of hanbok known to the world.
On June 17, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism declared that FELIX was selected as a Hallyu cultural artist for the project “2026 Hanbok Wave”.
The Hanbok Wave project, implemented by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Craft & Design Foundation, helps hanbok companies and Hallyu cultural artists to collaborate to develop new hanbok products and promote domestic hanbok brands.
The 5 hanbok companies which will plan and develop hanbok products alongside FELIX will be selected through a public contest from today and until July 7. The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism plans to unveil the developed hanbok through fashion photos, broadcasting on overseas billboards such as in Seoul, New York, Paris and Milan, and the production of domestic and international promotional contents.
This project is in its 7th edition this year and collaborated previously with the former figure skater Kim Yuna (in 2022), the singer and actress Suzy (in 2023), the actress Kim Taeri (in 2024), the actor Park Bogum (in 2025), among others.
