MINHYUK, a member of the group MONSTA X, will release his first solo track, “Reaching”, this Friday, according to his agency Starship Entertainment.
The digital single falls into the modern rock genre and features guitars and drums, Starship Entertainment stated. The lyrics transmit the sincere desire and deep affection of one person for another, as well as his hope that his feelings will reach them.
The singer-songwriter Ha Hyun Sang composed the song and wrote the lyrics for it.
“I wrote the song while thinking of MINHYUK, who is a brave person and endowed with a big heart. I also wanted to transmit [my] feelings to him.” Ha Hyun Sang declared concerning his inspiration.
MINHYUK revealed this track for the first time during the group’s world tour “The X: Nexus”, even personally playing the guitar during these performances.
“Reaching” will be available on various music streaming platforms this Friday at 6 PM KST.
MINHYUK debuted as a member of MONSTA X in 2015. The group is known for hit songs such as “Dramarama” (2017), “Shoot out” (2018), and “Love killa” (2020).
