STRAY KIDS - I.N, LEE KNOW, BANG CHAN
BANG CHAN, LEE KNOW, and I.N, members of the group STRAY KIDS, spent a day as teachers at the hospital school of the Samsung Medical Center as part of the environmental, social, and governance, or ESG, efforts of their agency JYP Entertainment.

During the event, the three members taught English, art, and writing to young pediatric patients using the track “Youtiful” (2023) from the group’s third full-length album “5-STAR” (2023). The title of the song combines the words of the phrase “You’re beautiful”.
BANG CHAN, of Australian nationality, taught English to the children by helping them understand the lyrics of “Youtiful”, while LEE KNOW took the lead for art. The members then helped the children write letters expressing their love and gratitude toward their families. The children also wrote to the three members to thank them, according to JYP Entertainment.
“The word “Youtiful” is so beautiful. Today was so much fun. We are going to eat well, sleep well, and continue to receive our treatment. We hope that we can see [the members] again after recovering our health.” the children said to the agency.
The class was part of JYP Entertainment‘s social contribution project, “JYP 4 Earth”, through which the artists and staff of the agency participate in various charitable works, including volunteering and donations. JYP Entertainment published a video on this latest event on its official YouTube channel Thursday.
“I think the children touched my heart more [than the other way around]. I will make more efforts to become a singer who can give […] hope to children.” I.N said.
“Reading the students’ letters made me very emotional. It was an unforgettable day. I would really love to come back very much.” BANG CHAN said.
STRAY KIDS played as a headliner of “The Governors Ball Music Festival” earlier this month. The group will participate in a new festival, dubbed “Straycity”, planned to take place in Brazil in September.
