The group STRAY KIDS ardently warms up summer with a digital single as well as a new album and a world tour.
JYP ENTERTAINMENT unveiled the teaser of “Run it” on the official social network channels of STRAY KIDS on June 22 at midnight KST and transmitted the news of the release of a new digital single next June 24 at 1 p.m. KST.
The teasing video depicts STRAY KIDS with a character similar to a spearhead and expresses its heritage in various places. STRAY KIDS settled as a symbol connecting the past and the present through a strength which moves forward and matches with the ambiance of the song. Various elements such as a refined narrative, visuals which jump to the eyes and the harmony of black and white amplified the curiosity toward the main body of the music video.
The new song “Run it” condenses the gigantic energy with which STRAY KIDS, who consolidated its unparalleled presence on the music market of the entire world with a music created by itself, extends toward a bigger world. It plans to settle as a powerful “anthem-song” which expresses in music the unrestrained step of STRAY KIDS, who is recognized as a world first-rate artist.
According to the release information of the new album unveiled at the end of the video, the group will publish its new opus “THIS AND THAT” next August 8 at 13h KST. It is a record presented about 9 months after the SKZ-IT TAPE “DO IT” published in November of last year. “Run it”, presented as a digital single, will also be included in the album. Thereafter, STRAY KIDS will pursue a new world tour under the title of “RUN IT”.
