WINWIN, a former member of the group NCT, directly shared his feelings as he leaves the group following the end of his exclusive contract with SM Entertainment.
Last July 8, WINWIN published a message on his social media saying: “ From 2016 to 2026, these 10 years have passed incredibly fast. Looking back on this past decade, I am writing these words with all my sincerity. ”
Reflecting on his past activities, he confided: “ Having started as a trainee to become a member of NCT 127, then a member of WayV, I have nothing but gratitude for being able to meet so many people and form such precious bonds over these past 10 years. Sometimes, when I look at photos from a few years ago, the stories engraved in each image come back to my mind and many memories resurface. Thinking back on it, there were difficult and exhausting moments, as well as days when I faced frustrations and hardships. However, my heart remains filled with many more moments of happiness, emotion, and joy. ”
WINWIN continued: “ Even with the passage of time, these memories, although modest but precious, have always been the strongest force sustaining my life and have given meaning to each of my steps. They have become the most cherished engine making me who I am today. ”
He expressed his appreciation, adding: “ I was given the chance to debut as a group member when I was young and imperfect, and I was offered precious stages to travel the world to meet fans. From the first moment I was able to step onto the stage as an SM artist until today, I would not be here without all these experiences. These past 10 years will remain forever engraved as the most precious memory of my life. ”
Finally, WINWIN concluded: “ I hope these 10 years will also remain a warm, beautiful, and unforgettable memory for you. In the future, I will not forget my initial dream, I will do my best with an unchanging heart, and I will become a WINWIN who grows even further. ”
Furthermore, SM Entertainment had announced the day before the end of the exclusive contract with WINWIN. Consequently, WINWIN is also bringing an end to all his activities within NCT.
WINWIN debuted in 2016 as a member of NCT 127, then joined NCT U in 2018 during the promotions for “BOSS”. Starting from 2019, he also distinguished himself as a member of WayV. Currently, he is focusing on his local activities in China and has appeared in Chinese dramas such as “Perfect match”.
