LEE HYUN, the “first singer of BIGHIT”, has signed a contract renewal with BIGHIT MUSIC, thus pursuing his companionship for a 19th year.
BIGHIT MUSIC stated on July 8: “ We have signed a contract renewal with LEE HYUN. LEE HYUN shared his impressions: “ I have come to renew my contract with BIGHIT MUSIC, my musical home and my most reliable partner. As has always been the case until now, this was done on the basis of deep mutual trust and respect. ” He added with determination: “ I wish to show a more active image more often to the fans who are waiting for my music. I am going to create many opportunities to communicate through music and become a singer who sings without ceasing. ”

LEE HYUN is the “first singer of BIG HIT”, having started his life as a trainee from the very beginnings of the foundation of Big Hit Entertainment in 2005.
He formed his first ties at the time when Chairman BANG SI HYUK was active as a producer at JYP Entertainment, by taking charge of guide recordings and chorus vocals, before subsequently becoming Big Hit’s first artist. He debuted in 2007 as the leader of the co-ed group 8eight, then formed the duo Homme in 2010 with LEE CHANG MIN of 2AM, popularizing the hit “밥만 잘 먹더라”, while receiving great love with his solo song “내꺼중에 최고”. In 2023, LEE HYUN published the digital single “MASQUERADE” through the MIDNATT project, his other alter ego.
