After a series of short-form teasers that captivated the web, the OURBIRTHDAY project has just taken a crucial step by publishing the very first episode of its animated series. Entitled “WHIP! OURBIRTHDAY! | Ep.01 악당 무미의 등장?”, this short film plunges the audience directly into a polished and colorful three-dimensional universe.
The plot begins as a menacing metallic sphere named Mumi hovers over a pastel-hued metropolis. Faced with this intrusion that causes the city’s happiness level to drop, the OURBIRTHDAY command center issues a critical alert and immediately deploys its defenders. Three young, stylish and energetic heroines then embark on an urban chase to confront a veritable army of red-eyed robots.
Each character demonstrates her unique combat skills: one wields sharp circular discs, the second masters a green glowing spear, while the leader uses a pink energy whip to strike down her opponents.
This dynamic first episode sets the foundation for a captivating fantasy universe, blending pop aesthetics and thrilling action. The next episodes of this ambitious project signed JYP ENTERTAINMENT will be discovered very soon on OURBIRTHDAY‘s official channel.
