BAE173 has split up without reaching its 7 years of existence.
PocketDol Studio stated on July 14: “The exclusive contracts of YUJUN, MUZIN, JUNSEO, YOUNGSEO, and BIT expired on June 30, 2026.”
The agency continued: “After long discussions, we have decided to respect the will of the members who wish to take on new challenges in their activities, and to let them pursue their respective paths following the expiration of their exclusive contracts,” adding: “We express our sincere thanks to the fans who sent them unwavering love and support.”
BAE173 debuted in November 2020. The expiration of their 7-year exclusive contract was scheduled for November of next year, but after mutual discussions, the end date was moved forward. The group had initially debuted as a 9-member lineup, but DOHYON left the group in June 2023, while HANGYUL and DOHA left last February and April.
