The Fan’s Choice winners of “KMA 2026” have been announced.
On July 24, representatives of “KMA (KM Chart Awards) 2026” stated: “As a result of the voting for the Fan’s Choice category which took place in three stages, TOMORROW X TOGETHER (Popular Song of the Year), YEONJUN (Best Popular Male Soloist), WINTER (Best Popular Female Soloist), TOMORROW X TOGETHER (Best Popular Male Group), UNIS (Best Popular Female Group), YOUNGTAK (Best Popular Trot) and LNGSHOT (Global Rising Star) secured 1st place in their respective categories.”
TOMORROW X TOGETHER rose to 1st place in the popular song of the year and best popular male group categories, while member YEONJUN also recorded 1st place in the best male soloist category, winning a total of 3 categories. UNIS and LNGSHOT respectively recorded 1st place in the female group and global rising star categories.
The Fan’s Choice winners of “KMA 2026” have been announced. This Fan’s Choice vote was conducted in 3 stages targeting musical sources and corresponding artists released from last year until April 30 of this year. The winners were tallied 100% based on the fan vote results.
The award categories include 7 fields: popular song of the year (BEST POPULAR SONG AWARD), best popular male soloist (BEST POPULAR SOLO MALE AWARD), best popular female soloist (BEST POPULAR SOLO FEMALE AWARD), best popular male group (BEST POPULAR MALE GROUP AWARD), best popular female group (BEST POPULAR FEMALE GROUP AWARD), best popular trot (BEST POPULAR TROT AWARD) and global rising star (GLOBAL RISING STAR AWARD).
As the Fan’s Choice results came out the day before the award ceremony, interest in the event continues.
On the main stage of “KMA 2026”, 15 teams will be present: TOMORROW X TOGETHER, P1HARMONY, HI-FI UN!CORN, ZEROBASEONE, 82MAJOR, UNIS, VVUP, KICKFLIP, HEARTS2HEARTS, NEWBEAT, ALLDAY PROJECT, CORTIS, ALPHA DRIVE ONE, LNGSHOT, and MODYSSEY.
The hosting of the event will be provided by actors Kang Taeoh and Won Jian, while actor Byeon Wooseok will participate as an award presenter.
Organized by KM Chart and KM Chart World, and managed by the KMA organizing committee and UPICK, “KMA 2026” will be held on July 25 at 6:30 PM KST at the Korea University Hwajeong Gymnasium in Seoul. The broadcast will be aired live via hellolive and ABEMA TV in Japan, and will be delay-broadcasted on MBC M.
