Only 30 of the 77 representative designers of K-pop, k-dramas, and Korean brands will accompany PD Han Dong Chul.

The new K-fashion project of PD Han Dong Chul, who led the trend of survival reality shows in South Korea by directing “SHOW ME THE MONEY”, “PRODUCE 101”, and others, reveals its concrete contours.
The new program “TAG & PICK”, which aims to discover next-generation style creators and expand K-fashion on a global scale, has announced the constitution of a large-scale lineup featuring the greatest national fashion experts.
While an impressive lineup of 77 fashion experts has been assembled, ranging from representative K-pop stylists of Korea to costume directors of k-dramas and brand designers possessing their own fandom, the ultimate elite lineup that will meet viewers and consumers around the world through the official broadcast will consist of only 30 people.
The attention of the fashion industry and the television world is focused on the question of who will be the final 30 people who will become the new icons of K-fashion alongside PD Han Dong Chul.
“TAG & PICK” aims for a structure differentiated from existing fashion survival reality shows that only show the competition of participants. It connects in a single process the character constitution of the cast, team formation, and mission execution, as well as the actual manufacturing, sale, and distribution of fashion items born on the show.
In particular, the program plans to present a new form of “retail reality” where competition on the show leads to actual consumption and sales in reality. Breaking away from the method where ranking is determined solely by jury evaluation, it is a structure where viewers directly choose and purchase products, thus participating in the program’s outcome.
Viewers “tag” their favorite brands and creators on the show and on social media, and “pick” products according to their tastes and purchasing intentions. The real reactions and sales performance of products created on the show become another evaluation criterion showing the competitiveness and growth potential of the participants’ brands.
“THE LABEL CITY”, which will be the central stage of the program, also deserves attention. Going beyond a simple filming set, THE LABEL CITY is designed as a complex fashion content space combining a workshop where participants plan and manufacture clothing, a stage where fashion missions take place, a content filming space, a pop-up store, an exhibition space, and a live sales space.
By allowing viewers to directly see, experience, and buy designs and brands born on the show, the goal is to make it a scalable space continuously operated even after the program ends through pop-up stores, exhibitions, shows, brand collaborations, and fashion events.
Thanks to this, “TAG & PICK” does not plan to be a program that ends in a single broadcast season, but to grow to become a new K-fashion intellectual property connecting fashion, television, distribution, and spatial activities.
While K-pop and k-dramas have acquired global influence, K-fashion creators who have perfected their visuals and styles now stand at the center of the stage. Participants plan to execute various missions crossing music, dramas, shows, and everyday clothing by collaborating with K-pop artists, actors, brands, and national and international creators.
Expectations are growing regarding the original and visual fashion designs that the 30 selected designers will present after fierce competition, as well as the evaluation that products born on the show will receive in the real market. PD Han Dong Chul’s new K-fashion project “TAG & PICK” plans to launch full-scale production after confirming the lineup of the final 30 people.
