The music video for the track “Moon” included in BABYMONSTER‘s 3rd mini-album “CHOOM” will be unveiled on August 3 at midnight KST.
On July 27, YG ENTERTAINMENT published “[춤 (CHOOM)] ’MOON‘ M/V ANNOUNCEMENT’ on its official blog. As general producer YANG HYUN SUK had announced previously, this confirms the publication of the fourth music video, following the title song of the 3rd mini-album “춤 (CHOOM)”, the digital single “SUGAR HONEY ICE TEA”, and the included track “I like it”.
The unveiled teaser poster captivated the gaze in one go with an intense visual where a gigantic full moon illuminates a forest plunged into darkness. In an atmosphere both dreamy and mysterious shaped by dark chiaroscuros, the song title “Moon”, highlighted by red typography, further stimulated curiosity regarding the main music video.
“Moon” is a Southern trap style R&B hip-hop track in which the 808 bass and a minimal composition stand out. Synthesizer sounds and lyrics with a singular scenario harmonize to complete a unique color, receiving vivid praise from global music fans upon its release.
On the side of YG Entertainment, it is declared: “For this music video, we focused on capturing the mysterious and dreamy atmosphere that “Moon” possesses through a sensual visual beauty”, adding: “This will present a new charm of BABYMONSTER with an atmosphere even different from the freshness of “I like it””.
Furthermore, BABYMONSTER is conducting its second world tour “2026-27 BABYMONSTER WORLD TOUR [CHOOM]”, having debuted with concerts in Seoul last June.
