SEAN posted on August 5 on his social media the message: “D-10 before Liberation Day, arrival in Korea from the United States at 3:30 AM. 5:30AM, unable to run due to a leg injury, I walked 8.15 km.”

The spirit of incredible tenacity of SEAN, who goes running only two hours after returning to the country, under overwhelming heat and overcoming a leg injury, sparks amazement. In addition, SEAN married actress Jung Hye Young in 2004 and has two sons and two daughters.
SEAN organizes every August 15 a charity marathon for Liberation Day. All donations from the event are used for projects to improve the residential environment of descendants of people who rendered meritorious service to independence.
