The group YOUNITE has released a new cover song for their Brazilian fans.
According to Para Music, YOUNITE simultaneously released worldwide the digital single “ACORDA PEDRINHO” on August 7 at midnight, local time of each country.
This track is a work that reinterprets the hit song by the Brazilian group Jovem Dionisio with YOUNITE‘s own sensibility and performance. While retaining the bright and catchy atmosphere of the original song, it adds the refined sound characteristic of K-pop to offer a different charm.
YOUNITE wanted to convey a special meaning to Brazilian fans beyond a simple cover. Revealed ahead of the tour “2026 YOUNITE TOUR ‘INYUN’ IN BRAZIL” which will be held next September, this new song is also a symbolic gift announcing the start of the tour. The tour will take place in 8 cities in Brazil, starting with Curitiba on September 5, followed by São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Porto Alegre, Belo Horizonte, Fortaleza, Recife, and Goiânia.
Expanding its scope of action beyond Asia to North America and South America, YOUNITE further extends its global approach thanks to this cover and this Brazilian tour. The group will present in a new way in the K-pop style a song familiar to Brazilian fans, and plans to offer a special experience with stages brimming with energy during local concerts.
