KATSEYE - SOPHIA
SOPHIA, member of the global girl group KATSEYE, is temporarily suspending her activities to restore her health.
HYBE and Geffen Records announced on August 8 via the fan platform Weverse: “SOPHIA will not participate in planned promotions for the time being”, adding “that she plans to dedicate herself to sufficient rest and care according to medical recommendations for the recovery of her mental health”.
SOPHIA also shared her feelings directly with her fans via social media (SNS), confessing: “I am learning that health is the top priority”, and “it hurts my heart not to be able to participate in many activities, but I am going to focus on my recovery to come back in better health”.
The resumption of SOPHIA’s activities will be decided after a re-evaluation of her health condition next September.
While member MANON had previously suspended her activities for health reasons, KATSEYE will continue its activities for the moment as a 4-member group composed of DANIELA, MEGAN, LARA, and YOUNCHAE.
