The singer TAEMIN builds fervor around his return by revealing the tracklist of his new album.
On August 18 at midnight, TAEMIN revealed the tracklist and image of his new EP album “PHASE 1 : SOFT VIOLENCE“, which will be released on August 31 at 6 p.m. KST, via his social media.
According to the revealed tracklist, this album contains a total of 11 songs, including the two title tracks “Float” and “Gooey”. It includes 5 new songs such as “This is the end”, “Easy loving you”, and “Skin”, which had been previously revealed in an introduction video, as well as 6 songs such as “Let me be the one”, “Permission”, “Sober”, “1004”, “Parasite”, and “Frankenstein”, presented last April on the stage of the “Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival” in the United States.
The participation of a prestigious team of global producers also attracts attention. The first title track “Float” is a track with a suave pop sound for which SOFTSERVEBOY, who created songs for LE SSERAFIM and SEVENTEEN, Drew Love from the American R&B duo THEY., as well as Bava, who co-composed “Taki taki” by DJ Snake and Selena Gomez, teamed up.
The other title track “Gooey” falls under the hip-hop pop genre, and while TAEMIN directly participated in writing the lyrics, top-tier domestic and international writers such as BUMZU, jonjon, Ninos Hanna, and WILJAM joined forces to enhance its quality.
Furthermore, the album is enriched by the new jack swing track “Let me be the one”, a collaboration between TAEMIN and producer Kuk Harrell who worked with Rihanna and Beyoncé, as well as the pop track “1004” in which TAEMIN directly participated in writing the lyrics and composing, supported by Josh Cumbee.
TAEMIN‘s new EP album, “PHASE 1 : SOFT VIOLENCE“, will lift the veil on August 31 at 6 p.m. KST. Subsequently, TAEMIN will hold a solo concert at the Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium in Seoul from September 18 to 20.
