JENNIE will make her comeback at the end of August.
According to her agency OA Entertainment, on August 19, JENNIE is accelerating preparations for her comeback with the goal of releasing a new EP album at the end of August.
This year, JENNIE performed as a headliner at 7 major global festivals, including “THE GOVERNORS BALL MUSIC FESTIVAL” in New York in the United States, the “ROSKILDE FESTIVAL” in Denmark, the “OPEN’ER FESTIVAL” in Poland, the “2026 MAD COOL FESTIVAL” in Spain, and the “SUMMER SONIC 2026” in Japan, making her presence shine as a true “festival queen” thanks to solid live performances.
Previously, during certain festival performances, JENNIE gradually revealed unreleased songs such as “Less than a lover”, “Fallen angel”, or “Lockitdown”, thus increasing expectation for her new record.
“Less than a lover” demonstrated once again her power as a solo artist, becoming immediately after its release the only single by a female solo artist published this year to obtain Gold certification on QQ Music, and occupying first place for 2 consecutive weeks on the show “M COUNTDOWN” on Mnet.
