Members SEOK MATTHEW and PARK GUN WOOK of the boy group ZEROBASEONE are embarking on unit activities.
According to their agency WAKEONE on September 18, the two members will release the first mixtape of the unit ZEROBASEONE EMP on September 21 at 6 p.m. KST via various online music sites.
It is the first time that a unit is being launched within ZEROBASEONE, which made its debut in July 2023. The EMP added to the unit’s name is inspired by “Electro Magnetic Pulse”. This contains the ambition to “create a space where only two people’s music exists, just as all surrounding sounds are cut off the moment the EMP explodes”.
EMP is also a combination of the letter E from “Extra”, which means “beyond the ordinary”, and the initials M and P of the English names of SEOK MATTHEW and PARK GUN WOOK.
