IVE returns to the music industry after about 8 months.
On October 26, the group will make its official comeback with the release of its new mini-album “LOOKS CAN KILL”.
IVE proved its powerful digital strength and scene dominance through their previously released second studio album “REVIVE+”. In particular, the double title song “Bang bang” swept the top spots on major domestic music charts, achieving a Perfect All-Kill (PAK), which constitutes the 6th PAK record in the group’s history. On music shows, they obtained 9 victories in total, including 8 victories with “Bang bang” and 1 victory with “Blackhole”, thus writing a grand record of 83 cumulative victories on music shows since their debut.
The influence of “Bang bang” was also very clear in the broader market. It appeared in Billboard’s main global charts in the United States, including the “Global 200”, “Global Excl. U.S.” and “World Digital Song Sales”. In particular, after reaching 1st place on the main monthly charts, the song remained at the top of the rankings for several months, and proves its constant popularity by remaining at the top of the main charts even today, 8 months after its release.
They also continued their performances on the global stage. Through their second world tour “SHOW WHAT I AM”, they gave concerts from Seoul to Asia, Oceania and North America.
