Singer CHANYEOL of the boy group EXO will release his second Japanese mini-album “TABI” this Friday, his agency SM ENTERTAINMENT announced today.

The word “tabi” means journey or trip in Japanese.
This upcoming project will be his first release in Japan since his first Japanese mini-album, “HIBI”, in October of last year.
The singer unveiled six pre-release tracks this Monday: “Song for you”, “Reburning”, “Infinity”, “Timeless”, “Stay with u”, and “Madoromi feat mia (sangatsu no phantasia)”. CHANYEOL contributed to the composition of “Reburning” as well as the composition and lyrics for “Madoromi feat mia (sangatsu no phantasia)”.
The singer is scheduled to appear at the Japanese music festival “A-Nation 2026” this Saturday in Tokyo. He plans to launch his concert tour in Japan, titled “-The Route-”, in Kanagawa on October 14. The tour will then continue in Aichi on October 29, Osaka on November 2, and Tokyo on November 11.

CHANYEOL made his debut as a member of EXO in 2012, establishing himself as part of the group’s vocal and rap line. The group’s hit songs include “Growl” (2013) and “Call me baby” (2015). CHANYEOL made his solo debut with the mini-album “BLACK OUT” (2024).
