On the 5th of July, the survival « BOYS24 »’s official SNS account revealed « BOYS24 THE FINAL » dates. The final will give the opportunity to 9 members becoming an idol in a group called Re:born. It will be held on the 12th of august at 5pm (KST) at Olympic Hall, Seoul.
Over the 9 members, two will be chosen by CJ E&M (as Hyunuk from UNIT BLACK as a « wild card »). The others will be chosen from various ways:
- Accumulated points fans can have when they buy concert tickets and/or official goods at the BOYS24 store – 20% (until 9th of July at 3pm KTS)
- Fans’ votes with those same points from above. You only can vote if you have more than 9 points, since you must chose 9 members and give them at least 1 point each – 10% (from 12th of July at 3pm KST to 6th of August at 3pm KST)
- Teamwork evaluation, where BOYS24 themselves and the company give to the others grades. They have to evaluate one’s capacity (and personality) to be in Re:born – 20%
- Fans’ votes during the final – 50%
The first results will be showed on the 31st of July between 3pm and 9pm KST. The official ones will be showed during the final, on the 12th of August.
Moreover, the member Oh Jinseok will not be a part of the final. He chose not to participate since he doesn’t want to be an idol anymore and has other projects in mind. Still, he’ll be here until the last BOYS24 LIVE concerts on the 6th of August.
