Band IZ makes a comeback with a second single.
Aujourd’hui 21 août 2019, au West Bridge Hall de Hongdae, le groupe de kpop/rock IZ est de retour seulement 4 mois (au mois de mai) après la sortie de leur premier single “RE:IZ“.
Les quatre garçons HYUN JUN, WOOSU, JIHOO et JUN YOUNG, viennent nous présenter leur second single “FROM:IZ“. Devant la presse ils enchaînent rapidement afin de nous présenter leur univers, celui qui les caractérise. Ces nouveaux singles sont pour les IZ, comme une nouvelle naissance, une nouvelle énergie que le groupe souhaite partager avec ses fans.
This second single is composed of 5 tracks, the title song: “Final kiss 너와의 추억은 항상 여름 같아“, “Lovers“, “Burn“, “구름의 속도” and the instrumental version of “Final kiss 너와의 추억은 항상 여름 같아“. If all songs are usually produced by Sweetune, there is one that the leader of the group particularly likes. Indeed, “구름의 속도” was written by HYUN JUN, which makes this title a little closer to his heart.
Today’s showcase begins immediately with the phototime. A moment that groups dread because, for them, nothing beats the stage performance. But the boys take the time to have fun and play the game with the photographers.
If the MV is very colorful, referring to the Summer, the group tells us about the memory of this last kiss, the one we make to our holidays’ love. A kiss that we hope will last forever, but that we know is ephemeral because it represents an end.
Time to see what happens on stage. The boys stand behind their instruments and JIHOO picks up the microphone. The performance is up to the talent of the group: power, visual, musicians and energy are the words that can describe this performance stage.
With this new title, the boys wanted to give a meaning to the innocence we have during the Summer season. These very intense passions that we feel in the space of a few days and that come to termination at the end of the season.
This is a new step forward for the members of the group. Each of their titles shows new ways to be, and present what they know how to do: between power and impact, they can switch to more playful sounds.
Band IZ has finally found a sound that is unique and that will allow fans to recognize it from the first note.
