ONEUS : The comeback of the Korean “princes”.

Group ONEUS makes its comeback today with the release of its 3rd mini-album “FLY WITH US“.

ONEUS: RAVN, KEONHEE, HWANWOONG, SEOHO, XION and LEEDO from RBW Entertainment are today, September 30th, at the Ilchi Art Hall in the Gangnam district of Seoul, to unveil, their 3rd mini-album “FLY WITH US“, to the press.

This 3rd mini-album is composed of 6 songs, including the title track “가자 (LIT)“, the introduction “Fly me to the moon“, “Plastic flower“, “Blue sky“, “Level up” and “Stand by“. This new mini-album comes to close the series named “US”, after “LIGHT US” and “RAISE US“, “FLY WITH US” arrives like a message intended for the fans, the “TO MOON”, so that they can paint the world to the color of the group.

An important fact for ONEUS: The moon being an important concept for the group, each hair color of each member was studied for this comeback to represent different phases and luminescences of the lunar body.

The series “US” told the story of sunlight traveling in time and space to the moon. As ONEUS illuminating “TO MOON” with their aura and their music.

To launch this presentation showcase ONEUS first dimmed the lights with the title “Blue sky“.

For this comeback ONEUS have ventured on a new ground by showing the title “Lit” which is not usual to what they do. The song “Lit” expresses past memories under a moonlit night. The title song tries to highlight a new genre highlighting the beauty of the “Hangeul” (Korean alphabet) with a catchy melody.

The MV you can see below is a good example of this new genre with many images showcasing South Korea, with traditional drum sounds. Managed by the producer ZANYBROS Hong Wongi who regularly works with the group, knowing how to highlight the performance of the 6 boys.

After the discovery of this clip, mixing various sounds, ONEUS dominate the scene with the title “Lit” live.

Preparing this comeback has made the members very happy, especially since they have recently finished a weekend of concerts to meet their fans. However, they were worried about how they would introduce this new concept and sincerely hope that the feedback will be warm. The most important for them in this comeback is the attention to the lyrics, members hoping to surprise the audience with this comeback, as they managed to do in Japan by releasing the single “Twilight” in August.

This 3rd mini-album “FLY WITH US” consists of pure black and white packaging with the logo of the group at its center. Inside you can not help but marvel at the 100-page photobook. The little pluses that make this mini-album, a special work for the fans are the “lyrics and post” cards, the randomly distributed card photos, the “book mark” and to finish the poster.

The showcase then turned to the questions of the journalists especially on the continuation, after the promotion.

Once the promotions of this new mini-album are closed, the group will fly to the United States, from November, for a tour that will stop in the following six cities; New York, Chicago, Atlanta, Dallas, Minneapolis and Los Angeles. Having just started in January, the group is already very productive and against all odds, the members do not feel tired by this pace but it’s rather happy to be able to always offer new content to fans. They are particularly eager to discover the difference between performing on a Korean stage in front of a predominantly Korean audience and performing in the US in front of foreigners. For this, they are preparing this first tour by drawing inspiration and advice from senior artists, to show a wide variety of performances, while they held their first solo concerts in May, Korea. The most important thing is not to cultivate a mysterious image with the public, but to be able to have fun with him.

For boys, TO MOON are “love mates” with whom they wish to spend happy moments in the future. In addition, they returned to their nomination at the Soribada Music Awards held on August 1st, in the category “male new artist”.
