BLACKPINK continues to break records in the new year 2020, adding another to the myriad of titles already obtained.
BLACKPINK music video for “Kill this love” surpassed 700 million views on YouTube at 11.55 pm on December 4th.
It is the first time among the kpop groups that one of them has 4 MV with more than 700 million views.
Before “Kill this love“, BLACKPINK had reached the 700 million view mark with “As if it’s your last“, “Boombaya” and “Ddu-du ddu-du“.
The MV for “Kill the Love“, released in April of last year, changed the game with a number of views obtained faster than “Ddu-du ddu-du“. It was a resounding success, and confirmed when YouTube recently released its ranking, being the eighth most watched music video in the world in 2019.
This caused a sensation not only on YouTube, but also on charts and chats abroad.
BLACKPINK are currently touring Japanese domes and are preparing their new album. Fans expect a lot from the new songs that will be released by those who have appropriated the year 2019 with “Kill this love“.
