ASTRO won an award during the second day of the 34th ‘Golden Disc Awards‘ which took place at the Gocheok Sky Dome on January 5th.
This ceremony is one of the most important one. Indeed, the aim is to reward the best artists of the Korean music industry of the year and give them recognition for their hard work.
This year, the group ASTRO won the Best Performance Award (Male). During their speech, the leader JINJIN, thanked the group’s fans for their support and did not forget to speak about the 6th member, MOONBIN, who still cannot participate in the group’s activities because of health issues.
The five active members performed on stage their song “Again” and their latest title song “Blue Flame“. These performances were linked by an intense dance break done by JINJIN and ROCKY who said that they created it together. They both were able to show their dancing skills and prove that ASTRO deserves to win awards.
The members also made people speak about them thanks to their arrival wearing masks and black capes. This outfit gave them a mysterious vampire vibe that made their fans really happy.
ASTRO‘s agency, Fantagio Entertainment, announced that the members will stop their overseas activities for a while to prepare a new album.
