Boys group BLACK6IX celebrated the four Oscars for “Parasite”.
On February 11th, a video clip of “A glass of soju“, the soundtrack of the film “Parasite”, was broadcast on the official channel of BLACK6IX.
The video starts with the BLACK6IX logo, and the members seem busy with respective functions. As the screen changes from black and white to color, BLACK6IX draws attention with its basic and faithful dance performances.
In particular, the video presents a congratulatory message for the director Bong Joon-ho, who became the main actor of the four Oscars, on behalf of BLACK6IX, for the film “Parasite”. The members also create performances that correspond to the soundtrack of the film.
BLACK6IX, which receives attention for the creation of a choreography for the soundtrack of “Parasite”, “A glass of soju“, will make its comeback with its second mini-album “NICE TO MEET YOU” on February 12th.
The title track, “Call my name“, features a hard and powerful look from BLACK6IX. The lyrics are also characterized by the comparison of the charms of the members with black holes from which they are increasingly unable to escape.
The new BLACK6IX album will be released on various music sites at 6 pm KST on February 12th, and BLACK6IX will be on promotion thereafter.
