On September 20, the group ZEROBASEONE created an event by publishing on its official social networks the official cover art of its sub-unit ZEROBASEONE EMP‘s first project. Titled “EMP Mixtape Vol.1: We the Extra”, this first release marks an unprecedented and ambitious milestone for the duo formed by SEOK MATTHEW and PARK GUN WOOK.
The revealed cover image displays an urban, raw, and resolutely underground aesthetic. Designed with a very pronounced black textile grain effect, it highlights the sub-unit’s logo in a brushed and dynamic white stencil style. The title of the project, “EMP Mixtape Vol.1: We the Extra”, as well as the word MIXTAPE and the group’s name ZEROBASEONE, contrast the visual with an impactful red and white typography.
