One of ASTRO‘s members, MOONBIN, shows one more time his acting skills in a new drama entitled “The Mermaid Prince” which started to be released on April 14.

In a short teaser released a few days ago, we discovered MOONBIN‘s character, Woo Hyuk, as a charming and charismatic young man who was gazing at the sea and even walking towards it. The main female character, Hye Ri (Jung Shin Hye), ran to stop him while telling him “Don’t die!”.
Woo Hyuk often goes to the sea and seems to have a secret. Nayeon (Kim Hong Bin), one of Hye Ri’s friends, always gave him the nickname “Mermaid Prince” because of his strange behavior towards the sea. Hye Ri is really serious about this story and is also worried about Woo Hyuk : for example, she once tried to touch him when he came back from the sea and he shouted “Don’t touch me.”. This kind of scenes creates more and more mystery around Woo Hyuk’ secret.

MOONBIN gathered the attention of many thanks to the charming scenery and the refreshing and mysterious atmosphere that goes along well with the drama’s title “The Mermaid Prince”. Moreover, his attractive features created a kind of perfect character who seems to be lovely but also unreachable. MOONBIN‘s acting skills were also praised after the release of the teaser and people appreciated the fact that he was well prepared for his role because he had to gain muscles to make his character look perfect. Meanwhile, the episodes of the fantasy romance drama “The Mermaid Prince” will be aired on KT Seezn one by one, every Tuesday and Wednesday, starting April 14 and then the drama will be released on the YouTube channel Lifetime starting May 24.
