#ARON and MINHYUN chose “Moon Dance”
“Moon Dance” is the first track of the album, which includes lyrics written by JR and MINHYUN. The song is an urban R&B track with vocal harmonies and jazz components, presenting sweet vocals and creating a romantic mood with lyrics about wanting to dance under the moonlight with a loved one. ARON said, “It’s a genre I like, so I feel more drawn to it.”. MINHYUN showed affection for this song as well by saying “The lyrics and the melody are so charming.”.
#JR, BAEKHO and REN chose “Must”
“Must” is the 5th track of the album. BAEKHO and REN participated in compositing and writing the lyrics. REN wanted to share in this ballad a message he wrote about his grandfather. The song expresses a sincere desire for a loved one, as well as a gratitude for the time spent together.
JR said “I feel more affection for this song because REN participated in writing the lyrics” and BAEKHO added “It is a song with lyrics based on a letter REN wrote, and it’s a song that I think reflects the kind of thoughts that any of us can feel when something happens.” REN also chose “Must” and said “I chose it because I participated in writing the lyrics, which are based on my own personal story.”.
On May 11, NU’EST released their new mini-album “THE NOCTURNE”, 1st album in approximately seven months. The title song “I’m in Trouble” but also the other songs of the album have a high ranking in the charts in Korea and abroad, which shows the global popularity of the group.
