It’s another week full of contents that ends up today for Melodies (BTOB fandom name). Afraid you missed something? Here’s a summary of the last week.
Before starting, let’s remember first that 5 members out of 7 are currently serving at the army.
SEO EUN KWANG : enlisted on 2018 August, 21st, discharged on 2020 April, 7th
LEE CHANG SUB : enlisted on 2019 January, 19th, to be discharged on 2020 August, 21st
LEE MIN HYUK : enlisted on 2019 February, 7th, to be discharged on 2020 September, 12th
LIM HYUN SIK : enlisted on 2020 May, 11th, to be discharged in 2021 November, 14th
YOOK SUNG JAE : enlisted on 2020 May, 11th, to be discharged in 2021 November, 14th
JUNG IL HOON : enlisted on 2020 May, 28th, to be discharged in 2022 February, 27th
BTOB is a KPOP band from CUBE Entertainment. Currently, the leader SEO EUN KWANG ends up his promotion for his first solo album called “FoRest ENTRANCE” and YOOK SUNG JAE, in spite of his military service, is on spotlight with his K-Drama (korean dramatical series)THE MYSTIC POP-UP BAR.
Monday, June 22nd
The band BTOB is nominated at the 2020 SORIBADA BEST K-MUSIC AWARDS in the category “Male group popularity award”. The leader SEO EUN KWANG and the rapper LEE MIN HYUK are nominated in the category “Male popularity award”.
The leader SEO EUN KWANG has publised 3 pictures on his Instagram update with the captions : “A glance”, “Music Video”, “Gently”.
Finally, the vocalist YOOK SUNG JAE has been nominated on THEK KING in the category “K-Drama actor : Korean wave actors”.
Tuesday, June 23rd
A new clip of Behind the scenes has been published by JTBC Studios.
SEO EUN KWANG has been seen on a picture grouping up the cast of the musical he will participate : “Something Rotten”.
While the KPOP Band SEVENTEEN did its comeback, SEO EUN KWANG, who’s friends with them, sent them a supportive message on the radio show JUNG EUNGI MUSIC PLAZA.
Wednesday, June 24th
SEO EUN KWANG and PENIEL participated to the radio show MEN ON AIR that has been published on live on Youtube.
Fans did learn that vocalist and composer LIM HYUN SIK had called PENIEL when he has been able to borrow a cellphone.
A very first video of the practice of the musical for “Something rotten” has been published on the Instagram account of JIYOUNG JUNG.
At the same time, on the website UCUBE, fans can now buy some merchandising for the very first solo concert of SEO EUN KWANG.
Thursday, June 25th
A new video of the army has been uploaded, showing YOOK SUNG JAE participating at The army hero challenge.
Oh of the rappers of the band, JUNG IL HOON, passed his “Completion ceremony”, celebrating the end of his training period.
The BEATCOM 111.5 has been updated on the official Youtube channel of BTOB.
The very last episode of the KDrama with YOOK SUNG JAE, THE MYSTIC POP UP BAR, has been uploaded on the digital streaming platforms (including Netflix). JTBC Studios have published a picture of the package of the OST, available on July 3rd.
YOOK SUNG JAE has been seen on some promotion of the products SOME BY MI he made the promotion before going to the army.
SEO EUN KWANG published 3 pictures on his Instagram account with the caption “Who are you?”.
Friday, June 26th
JTBC Studios shared a video that the actors, including YOOK SUNG JAE, had recoreded at the end of the footage of THE MYSTIC POP-UP BAR. We learn that the footage last 6 months and that the actors were friends and that they were regretting to quit the studio.
At the same time, YOOK SUNG JAE has won the first place for the K-Drama rankings of June on THEK KING.
LEE CHANG SUB, to be discharged in August, appeared in the commermorative ceremony of June 25th.
LIM HYUNSIK has been seen singing at the army. It looks like he has been deployed to the “ANYANG UNIT” and that his training period is finally over. He should be able to get his phone back from now on.
Saturday, June 27th
The song “That girl” of PENIEL is 3 years old !
A new video of the behind the scenes of THE MYSTIC POP-UP BAR has been published by JTBC Studios.
During an interview, SEO EUN KWANG said he is relentlessely working and learning to be a good actor in the musical SOMETHING ROTTEN, admitting this would be his biggest challenge. He will be acting and singing next to a lot of talented people and also with his friend YEO ONE, from PENTAGON (from Cube Entertainment too). The musical will happen at Chungmu Art Center from August 7th to October 18th.
Sunday, June 28th
To ends this week full of content, the leader from BTOB, SEO EUN KWANG celebrated the end of his promoting session of his album with a new HA.DA.BANG (live video) he entitled “Health and watermelon punchmaking session”.
During this HA.DA.BANG, SEO EUN KWANG has been on phone call with YOOK SUNG JAE and LEE CHANG SUB, who were togather at the army and were looking at the HA.DA.BANG of their leader. SEO EUN KWANG expressed a bit of jealousy, explaining he is missing all his friends.
