Singer ZICO (28, Woo Ji Ho) will join the military.
ZICO will enter the Nonsan Training Center in South Chungcheong Province this afternoon. ZICO will serve as a social worker after four weeks of basic military training.
ZICO is the fourth BLOCK B member to join the army after Taeil, B-beom and U-Kwon.
Prior to joining the military, ZICO also spent time with close friends, including Winner’s Song Min Ho and rapper Penomeco.
ZICO, who made his debut as a member of Block B in 2011, has shown his excellent rap and production skills, and has worked as a solo singer within the group. ZICO, whose contract expired in 2018, created KOZ Entertainment without renewing his contract.
Even after his solo career, ZICO was successful in all of his albums. In January, “Any song” not only became a huge hit, but also sparked the TikTok craze in K-pop. The recent “SUMMER HATE” is also very popular.
