APINK - Kim Namjoo
APINK’s KIM NAMJOO will make her solo debut in September.

“APINK’s KIM NAMJOO will be releasing an album on September 7th,” her agency PlayM Entertainment said on the morning of August 18th.
This marks KIM NAMJOO‘s first solo debut in nine years as the third soloist among APINK members after JUNG EUNJI and OH HAYOUNG.

KIM NAMJOO made her debut in 2011 as a member of APINK, KPOP girl group with a career spanning more than 10 years, and who are successful with their songs “Five“, “Luv“, “Mr.Chu” and “NoNoNoNo” and with a successful concept change “I’m so sick“, and “Dumhdurum,” which topped the music charts.
This activity should give a glimpse of KIM NAMJOO‘s new charm as she revealed her solo abilities as a “versatile performer” with a wide range of personal activities as an actress, musicals, entertainment and YouTube.
In addition, KIM NAMJOO‘s solo debut is gaining more attention thanks to the collaboration with Soyeon of (G) I-DLE. Soyeon showed her strong presence as a producer, presenting works with unique concepts. Expectations are high as to the kind of synergy members of the two main girl groups, who are loved by global KPOP fans, will give.

KIM NAMJOO will make her solo debut with the self-composed song Soyeon, the agency said. KIM NAMJOO recently finished filming the music video and is working hard on the album.
KIM NAMJOO, who has been active as a member of the group APINK and has shown solo potential in various activities, will become a solo singer in September, drawing the attention of the KPOP scene to the new aspects she will show.
